Christmas cookies

Okay as I have promised hear are the cookie that I have made this year for Christmas.

Cottage cheese cookies (that's right cottage cheese cookies very good try it )

4 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 sticks butter, softened to room temperature. = 1 cup
1 (15 0z) tub of cottage cheese = about 1 3/4 cups.
2 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
2 Tbsp. Milk

Method:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour. baking powder, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and eggs until well blended. Add in flour mixture a little at a time until combined. Drop by the tablespoons into greased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, until lightly golden brown.

Tip:
my dad has high blood pressure so for years I have been taking out the salt in cookies and other things. Believe me with out the salt the cookies tasted better, so try these cookies with out the salt.

Glaze Topping:
1 c. powdered sugar
one orange
2 Tbsp of cream cheese

Method:
Combine powdered sugar, Orange zest, orange juice 1/2 of the orange juice. Mix until smooth. Put on cookies.

Oatmeal Cranberry white chocolate chunk cookies

1 1/3 c. butter softened
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
4 large eggs
3 c. old-fashioned oats
3 c. flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
16 ounce package craisins
16 ounce white chocolate chips

Method:
Preheat oven to 375. Using a electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together in a medium mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs mixing well. Combine oats, flour, baking soda in a separate mixing bowl. Add to butter mixture in several additions, mixing well after each addition. Stir in craisins and white chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls into sprayed cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack Makes about 2 1/2 dozen bookies

This is what I gave to my family and friends for teats this year. The cookies are rely good. All I can say is the Cottage cheese cookies; don't knock them unless you have tried them. They are very good.
